Happy Easter!
Went on a last minute ride that grew to about ten bikes. Just went rolling through the twisties for a few hours. Weather cooperated (except I heard PoisonIvy got drenched on the way back to Florence) Awesome day!

Eh, I took the kidlets down to BHY to get the older one a skid lid so she can start riding with me. Looks like I'll be doing a few 2-up runs this year.

Two up with your kid is the best. It was about this time last year when my son took his first ride with me. We started out going "around the block" that morning... we ended up riding to (mol)Estacada and back. Everytime I said, "keep going or go back?" he'd answer, "keep going". :rad:

He did a bunch of rides with me last year. He hasn't been out this year yet though. With the nice weather last week, I think it's time to bust out his jacket and helmet again so I can start taking him to school. That was always the best... all the other kids were in awe that this kid showed up to school on a motorcycle and all of the safety nazis, I mean, teachers and administrators were horrified. How more perfect is that!!! :lol:

You know... the only complaint about having a kid that wants to ride pillion... is that he's still growing, which means we'll be getting new equipment for him on a regular basis. Not to mention, everytime I get some new piece of gear, he wants to know where HIS new piece of gear is!!! :pityfool-MrT:

:hysterical: But he's a great kid... so I don't mind hookin' him up. Now when he becomes a teenager? Well, that's a whole 'nuther story. :laughing:
