State Farm unless you have a few tickets or a wreck. I switched over to them a while back and they cancelled me a week later because of my driving record. Progressive Took me crawling back.

State Farm! $80.00/month for an 04' Passat and a 06' Goldwing.

No tickets.

Pat Healy at the Lake Grove office is my rep.
(503) 635-9200. He's a great rep.

Yeah, I'm with State Farm for ~$350/yr. full coverage. Nobody else came close.

on a side note, after my booboo it was a week for them to cut a check to the shop for the repairs. Not too bad when you look at it, the shop had to work up the estimate and submit it before payment.

Between State Farm, Safeco and Allstate who writes policies for JUST a motorcycle? I'm not interested in moving my cars or home as well. That seems to be what I run into. Which of you simply has a bike on a policy and nothing else?

I have one ticket on my record.

AIG will write a bike without a car. After shopping around last year, they were better than anyone else at the time. I pay $70 /mo full coverage on the Busa. No wrecks or tickets and good credit score. Our cars are with Progressive.

Progressive quoted me 4400/yr for the same coverage on the Busa! Needless to say I told 'em to F off!

We are going to check into moving both cars and both bikes to State Farm. I just haven'y gotten around to it. I called Pat Healy at Lake Grove (as posted by Skipbo) twice last year. He never returned my calls... *shrug* I kinda thought it woulda been convenient sice I live RIGHT around the corner from his office.

Foremost is owned by Farmers and they quoted me 3X's higher then State Farm. Progressive and Geico were both $4500/yr and several were in the 2k range.

In the end SF got all 3 cages, the bike and the house. The cars went down by about $15 each and the house went up $40. Pretty much even money compared to when I was at Farmers.

I have country for only my bike, but it sounds like statefarm is the way to go. Does anyone know off hand if they do a bike only policy?

Haha no ****e!! My agent said it had to be reviewed by the higerups for a motorcycle only policy. Like I'm not worthy! :twofinger: The last time I was quoted bike only it was almost double the cost.

I've actuallu yhought about it and came up with the solution.

Go to a junkyard and find some old 80's econobox that died of old age, not an accident, and write down the VIN. Then insure it with the bare ass minimum that you can get away with. The insurance co could give a rip less if you own the car and with liability only they don't want to see it. Even better is you know that it will never get in an accident.

They like to visually inspect now.

they only want to visually inspect for more then liability coverage. If you go with the cheapest then they just want the money.
