ive heard the ceramic parts of spark plugs can do it. But if it was the back window, any object lagre enough and thrown with enough force will shatter it. Its tempered glass, designed to shatter. The front windshield is laminate glass, designed to crack but not completely shatter for safety reasons. If you were up in Portland I could get you a new tinted window for around 250.

Maybe its payback time for the time I broke a guys front windshield with an iceball on his Cadillac. I think I was 14 or so. Took a long time for Karma to catch up that one.....

It won't do it on a windshield because it is laminated but the other windows shatter like there nothing, and make very little noise doing it. Yes I have a past, don't judge.

Correct. Back window and side windows will completly shatter when hit with porcelin/ceramic (whateverthe stuff is at the end of a spark plug).If you take a spark plug and break it then take a piece of it and tie it to a fishing line you can have a custom made "key" that fits any car.

yeah, ive had my driver side window shattered while I was driving over the pass at about 60. An suv decided to pass me and must have been a rock shattered the window. scared the crap outta me, and guess who got to drive the rest of the way over the snow covered pass with no window? me...hehe.
