its a phenomenon, every spring people sell thier bikes and mostly i see its financially motivated. you wait all winter for summer, sell your bike in spring and die of sadness in the summer. i just take my bikes out of the equation and when i need money, find other motivation. your situation is different kris but i hate to see people lose riding a bike as it is such a beautiful thing to know

At least we have the Cat tho. We spent a lot of last summer on the back of it. Its very comfortable for me. If I was rich, and was able too, I would keep that R1. It was a gift to him, because his dream was to have a brand new one.

It is sad to sell a bike when you don't really want to. That is one [of the many] reasons why I only pay cash for bikes - the lack of a monthly payment takes away the incentive to sell. If I need cash, there is almost always something else I could sell (and that I'd probably rather sell!)...
