Hey All,
Nothing to do with bikes.....just their riders. Had a semi-scary event happen last night that was a bit a eye opener/reminder. My neighbor, a young single mom, came over last night while i was cooking dinner and asked for my help. Apparently she had left her front door open cuz of the warm weather (we live in a very safe neighborhood in Eugene) and some dude just walked into her house and locked himself in her bathroom. His car was in the intersection still running with its door wide open. Once I talked him out of the bathroom (yes...i did leave the gun at home) it was very apparrent that he was not quite right upstairs at the moment. I managed to get his name and his girlfriend's number and find out he was 12 hours into a bad LSD trip. All ended up fine but things could have been very different. I, myself, would have been more likely to blast and then ask questions later had it been my house or my wife. Please, everybody, be safe so we can meet up this summer and ride together.
P.S. I realize i should have called the police - it is their job - but i also know the cops here in Eugene have a way of "embroiling" matters....especially when dealing with large, shirtless, drugged out dudes:pityfool-MrT:.
