**For now we will go on the assumption we will only have 20 people and the cost will be $15 per person. If (and I hope we do) we get 30 or more the cost will go down to $10 per person and you will get your $5 bucks back.

So, you may have to park a little down the street or around the block.

Broomball is a game that is similar to hockey only played in your tennis shoes. We provide helmets, broomsticks, broomballs, and nets. You just bring your players and your tennis shoes.

There are no cleats, spikes or other than rubber soles permitted. If you have a helmet of your own I recommend bringing it to assure best fit.
We suggest you bring knee pads if you have them, gloves, and warm clothing if watching. You wear your tennis shoes on the ice. If you have never been, it's a great time!!! It's a somewhat organized free for all! You don't have to know anything to play...most of us went out last year never having done it before and had a lot of fun. Feel free to invite other people. We must have at least 13 people pay in advance in order to reserve the rink and secure the date. The rest can pay at the rink, although the more that pay in advance, the easier it makes things the evening of broomball and the sooner we can get started. Everyone has to sign a liability waiver when you arrive at the rink.

Elbow, wrist, and knee guards are H I G H L Y recommended! You WILL go down!
Kids are welcome to the gathering as well as Broomball (not on the ice) but for their safety please have a non-player available to care for them.:thumbup:

Hi all !!!
Our spot is secured now. I paid and signed the contract that says we can't cancel within 7 days of the event date/time. That comes down to tomorrow night. I am not cancelling so I guess as of tomorrow night we will start bringing in friends and acquaintences of board members to get to the 40 players. There is an entrance to the parking structure right about NE 10th & Halsey.
Get into the structure and go all the way up to the roof level, then head to the SE corner of the lot for the entrance.

Enter off Multnomah Street across the street from the theaters. There are two entrances close together one that goes into Sears and one that goes past Sears. You will want to use the one that goes past Sears. Drive straight through past Sears. After Sears, slightly to the left, there is a ramp to go underground. Take the ramp. Go straight till you get to an option to go up a ramp or down a ramp. Take the up option. right after to you go up there is a parking lot to your left. Park in this lot and the doors there are open.
