Hello!
Food Services of America (FSA) is seeking to add additional local delivery route drivers out of the Woodburn distribution center.
This is an excellent driving opportunity with good wages and benefits.
We are growing!
I myself have worked in the Purchasing divison of FSA for over five years and cannot say enough of the organization. They are true professionals.
The Woodburn distribution center was awarded the 2006 FSA Branch of the Year and we have a stong chance of retaining the title for 2007. It is a first class facility with a very good fleet of equipment.
FSA is a NW regional distributor and delivers loads to chain account restaurant customers, street restaurant accounts, school districts, care facilities, correctional institutions, universities, businesses, hotels, resorts, golf country clubs, etc, etc.
Here is a link to the FSA site for the Woodburn distribution center:

Pay, benifits, schedule? No real info on the website.
Pay: I think they're starting everyone at $18.19/hr. Right now full scale is 20.21/hr. and the contract is up in April and obviously we're looking for a pay raise.
benefits: Teamsters union so great benefits (insurance, pension, etc.) Anything over 10 hours a day is time and a half (ex: if you work 12 hours first 10 is normal scale, last 2 are time and a half).
schedule: for the first 6 months to year you'll pretty much be on call every day. Usually 4 10's a week with possible mandatory. Never work Sundays but must call in every day (except Sat.) for the next days schedule.
Must have a CDL A with T (doubles/triples) endorsement.
If you're interested PM me and I can get you in contact with the right person.

Hey Cornholio. When you have a chance, come up to Purchasing to say hello. I'm near the El Presidente conference room. Just look for the office with a lava lamp.
Are you riding yet in to work..??

I still haven't bought a bike yet. :haha: I'm keeping my eyes open for an '01 - '04 GSX-R 1000 and it looks like I missed a great deal over at the other site a couple weeks ago. I'm not in a big hurry to buy but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. I just want one before summer is 1/2 over. I've been too busy spending way too much money on electronic goodies lately (bought a new Denon dvd-a/sacd player and about 80 dvd-audio and SACD discs in the past 3 weeks, among other things) so I need to lay off that for a while. Once I find the right bike an airshifter, extended arm and a few other toys will be right-away must-haves. :D

Extended Arm..?? Are you gonna drag race it at Woodburn Drag..?? Our FSA owner from what I heard used to drag race some of his semi trucks.
Don't wait too long for a bike..!!

Don't wait too long for a bike..!!Yeah, I want to do some drag racing again. I used to have a couple older air/oil cooled GSXR's that I used to run before I moved out here and I miss it. My goal is to get into the 8's on a street tire.

Howdy Mario... Are you a local or regional route driver..?? Is Pepsi a good company to drive for..??
I was a long haul driver for a few years for CR England. I hauled lots of beer
out of Denver then onions out of Othello.
I'd like to haul produce north from Salinas and Bakersfield some day with my own truck.
I just need to find that elusive year-round southbound freight.

It's local. The plant is in Ridgfield. We deliver to Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Stevenson, to Batlleground, Woodland, Kelso, Castle Rock, and west to the coast.
