Hey everyone!
I know Alot of you out there are EXTREMELY talented! We are having a contest to design the "Official OSB Logo". Anyone is welcome to thorw in an idea.
So lets put our Photoshop and Printshop skills skills to the test here and come up with something OFF THE HOOK!
Even if you dont have paintshop or photoshop, and are just much better with colored pencil, I want to see it! Draw it up by hand, scan it in and send it to us here or via email to admin@oregonsportbike.com (admin@oregonsportbike.com)
Entries are due by November 15th, at which time they will all be posted up for voting.
Good luck!

:bounce: I'm actually inspired to give this a try. I should have something in within the week.
Anything you have already thought of or is this just a toss up to see what comes in?

Do you want the OSB to be part of the image or can that be outside?

Lettering should be something sleek and fast--Not that heavy goth like stuff choppers use.

I'm on it! :ride:

mike,

you should state what type of decal your going to use. a printed decal so color / art will be limitless or a vinyl cutout which greatly limits it's design.

or course a printed sticker has more possibilities, it also is more expensive.

 Oh, I kinda thought we were finished when you came up with that sleek flyer.
Can I get some feed back on the rough that I sent you? or were you waiting for the cleaner version?

Working until Sunday AM so won't get to anything until Monday. I have some other ideas too. :smilewink:

I think one of these (http://www.oregonsportbike.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144) images would be better for it though. I wanted to use one but not without permission. I also invisoin a snappy slogan under the title. Do you jwfxr would be willing to share for the logo?

Macro-photos gave me a thought: Different perspetive can make good art. Perhaps one of those or something of the sort. I have no photoshop nor the knowwledge to use it fully or I'd give it a try, but wanted to mention my idea.

Don't know if this topic was ever finished, never saw any sort of closure...Anyhow, all the previous images were fairly realistic, hard to do a patch sort of thing out of those, so I took a slightly different route with this one, leaving it very open to modification.

i actually kinda like it! its definitely a different direction than everyone else has taken so far, but its still simple. very cool idea

I like it. But, it looks like its saying Oregon Spon bike. *giggle* I know, its an easy fix...

separate the "r" and the "t" and do something with the big eyes and wild hair but I think its really nice!

FJMam
02-27-2007, 01:59 PM
Like the sylization but I agree on the big black circles needing change. Maybe to 3 spoke wheels? And make the rest of it a little more recognizable?

MarineHawk
02-27-2007, 09:19 PM
Simple colors so easy to embroider/print and convertible to grayscale, and the bike/rider (obviously) have been converted from the picture-looking styles from before. Three different variations, quick summary being one without the '.com', another with the two lines of text and the other with it all on one. Hope it's more recognizable and doesn't look like a pair of eyeballs and some wild hair. ;)

MarineHawk
02-28-2007, 08:57 AM
Not really any bike in particular, Brian's earlier design in the thread was the inspiration and then was worked off of that.

It is sim to what I had in mind but couldn't do. We have a super talented artist that posts his stuff on the board. I was hoping to use one of his pieces on the one I did. I actually like what you put together way better though. The simplistic design and minimal colors will make it easy to print. You really did a great job. Kudos to you homie!
