View Full Version : FNG's for Portland/Vancouver residents

I am fishing for people interested in starting up a FNG for people who live in the Portland/Vancouver area. I was thinking BJ's in Jantzen Beach because they make great beer and food. Of course that's closer for NoPo's and WestCouver's but easy to get to cuz its off I-5.

How about it people, post up your preference and lets put something together.

Damn I just realized I've posted a lot today. I'm caught up at work, I need to find something to do. :help2:

I'm relatively new to the area but I'm good for pretty much wherever. If it's a bit of a distance, that just means I get to stay on my bike longer. :yes: :ride:

I live in the Tanasbourne area at the moment (for what it's worth).

BJ's is a great place for beer and eats. I used to go there a lot when I lived in So. Cal. and Arizona.

That's what this thread is about Dave. I don't see enough serious interest in this yet to think about going tonight, just trying to get a consensus, pick a couple of places, then actually set a date and go.

BJ's sounds good.. McMennamins are good to, and god knows there are plenty fo them around the area. Hmm, I'll have to think of some other beer/food places.

I haven't had the chance to meet any of you but I myself like the McMenamin's pubs.

I'm not a drinker but they make great sandwiches with the swirly-rye bread!

I'm a newbie 'round these parts (the board, not Portland or motorcycles), but I might be down with getting a beer after work on a friday sometime. McMin's has tasty beer... very tasty beer. I'd take you up on the BJ's but I see someone beat me to the punchline. :laughing:

Anywhere in PDX is fine for me... I live in mid-SE and commute everyday to Beaverton and Hillsbarrio. So a few more miles mean nothing to me...
