I would totally rock them on my new truck and bike! :yes: and I would pay for some too... I guess as soon as we find a Logo, we can design a sticker.

I like where that is going! (a left hand sweeper!)

my :2cents: : delete the "oregon sportbike" on the bottom. maybe make the sportbike a little bit clearer, a bit too abstract for my tastes. and perhaps offer a couple different colors to see if one is better than the other. (I dont know if every one would want a yellow sticker on their blue, green, red, tie-tie etc bike)

Ok Mike your on the rite track. Forget the swooping logo. put it in an outline of the state and run the logo across the bottom. The cleaner the better. You want to be able to read it.Just an old guys :2cents:

The Multi color shading is great! Will it work for patches and screen print?

I like the state logo the best now add some simple color! perhaps have the letters be white with shadowing. make the state a background color?

i'm liking the logo w/ the state as a background, but you definitely need some color... but i also kinda dug that one with the curved website address, it really set off how leaned over the bike was.... but thats just some young girls :2cents: haha

Hate to be the odd one out so far, but...


for me, no state, no fruitcake colors, no leaned over yahoo on a bike (boring), lose the "www" and make it steel lettered OregonSportbike.Com


We need to start a poll after this gets rolling.

Looks good Mike and you could even use the bike from your first design also. It may look cool in there.

Tess the problem with the curved logo is you want to be able to read it easily. To much cluter can deture from the overall effect. Which is to get the forum name out there.

I don't think color is the way to go. Make the state on outline. The color of the bike or whatever it's on will show thru. Keep it simple, cost less. Just a few color choices at first. Black, white, you could even make the state out line one color and the bike and name another.

This could work very well also. Beveled edge, chrome letters could look very cool and easy to read also.:thumbup:

It came to me last night. The Oregon outline looks like the ATV license AND the Oregon Fish and Game sticker.

So I submitted an idea very different from this to Mike. I tried to keep the colors simple but not boring. It needs digital clean up since it was a rough in colored pencil.

Has anyone else offered their art to this? There are plenty of opinions but what about your renderings? Don't have to be pretty.....Just get your idea across and it can be gussied up later.!:smilewink:

I agree with simple straight forward lettering but not boring because, simple we're NOT boring! White and Black! BORING, are we not electric green, yellow, silver, blue and "House of Color" gorgeous?? No leaning?? BORING, more for Goldwings.

Good ideas so far! I agree about the atv tag and state logo comments. how about the oregon sportbike in letters, but use the "O" in Oregon as the back tire and wheel for a sportbike? I'm not artistic at all, so I'll leave the actual drawing to people who can.

Make the letters silver and bold (cause it fits on just about anything) and get rid of the leaning bike.

Reason number 2: Black lettering does not work with tinted windows or darker colors.

If someone does not know what a sportbike is, then they cant read, or have been living in a cave for the past 15 years.

They dont need a picture......

Im not good with graphics but maybe use a similar font as the "oregon sportbike" logo on the top banner and put a circular "OSB" logo centered behind it?

Id emagine that we could do several diffrent color vinyl colored stickers and then people could just choose the ones they wanted for their particualr color of bike. It doesnt have to be only one particular color I dont think. Anyone is welcome to copy my idea off of here and expand on it as they wish. I want to see other peoples ideas!!! Im running out of them and my pea sized brain isnt THAT imaginitive! :laughing: :nerd:
