A lot of higher end cars capable of actually doing speeds that warrant a defuser will have it go the full length of the car.. the MR2s had them for the most part. Not high end, or 200mph cars, but hey they had the lowest drag coefficient out there. Basially the bottom of the car is fitted with "sheets" of plastic or other material, that is used to cover what you normally see if a car is on a hoist. The hoses, cables etc... so it's a smooth bottom, thus reducing drag.

And that's my .02 cents. Hoped it helped.

A lot of higher end cars capable of actually doing speeds that warrant a defuser will have it go the full length of the car.. the MR2s had them for the most part. Not high end, or 200mph cars, but hey they had the lowest drag coefficient out there. Basially the bottom of the car is fitted with "sheets" of plastic or other material, that is used to cover what you normally see if a car is on a hoist. The hoses, cables etc... so it's a smooth bottom, thus reducing drag.

And that's my .02 cents. Hoped it helped.

Alls I'm saying is if I can increase my corner speed by 1-3 mph it's worth it. . .

I do know about cars.. and I know what's wrong with it. I just don't have the tools or know how to take apart the head on Hyundai. Plus not to mention, I'm not sure I'd trust me own warranty work. LOL Has at least one burnt valve, maybe 2. But since it's in the shop and half apart anyway, I'm having them do the timing belt and all that is related, since after buying this car I know for a FACT that maintence was not a big concern for the woman. :(
