Wedding talk that scary?? How do you think I feel!!!? Okay, so I'm excited, but it really is scary all at the same time. I mean, this more or less got forced on us sooner than expected/wanted. But I wasn't willing to give up my Marine, and I guess he wasn't willing to give me up, so we're doing the whole marriage thing to make the Army happy. I wouldn't give up any of what's about to occur for the world. You should tell your men that one. :haha: No but really.... I don't know the stories behind their past relationships, but I do know the one behind Paul's and my own. It's hard to move past some things and give your trust 110% to another person.... It comes with time. I guess the best advice I can give is patience. Stay the supportive significant other you have been and always will be, and they will come around. I think guys are more worried about screwing things up then women are!! :eek2:

Night went ok. I only made $37 in tips, but when you only have a whole 8 people in the bar all day, that's not that bad. Then one of my customers/friends took us (myself, him, and Pedro) out to dinner at the new Chinese place in town. It was good, but now I can't eat for the next two days in hopes that I can fit into the bridesmaid's dress I need to fit in to on Saturday..... :unsure:

+1. Its not that I'm scared of it. I was married for 22 yrs. After some of the worst days. I still believed things would get better. Naive ? Maybe. I never expected to meet someone who I actually could fall in love with again.

I believe you when you say even a longer story then said. That's the story of me too..lol... But ya know. Things do change . One thing I did learn was that love is give and take. Its more arkward than a breeze..ITs more settling sometimes to hold each other than doing the wild thing.

Its enjoying the time you can be togather. IF all you can do is go for a walk. Walk till you ache..lol.Because like the ride of a motorcycle. Some bikes can take you for a loop. Still we hold on. Others can kill you. Still yet , there are the rides that fit just right. But, the road is bumpy..

Well, I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid a little. But I know its me .It has nothing to do with him or his lack or ability..Thats what comes from abuse. Been there and done that. If I didn't leave there when I did. I would not be here today..

So yes, abuse should never be mistaken for love . Nor should one wait for things to change. Unless the person wants to change. God nor the devil will make anyone change. +1 even in an arguement. At least, I don't live in fear.
Though, Torque and I rarely have an arguement. Even when we do it is short and finnished swiftly without any ugly name calling or be littleing.

6 yrs is a long time. But that doesn't mean they are compatiable. Which appearantly they are not. Its the little things in large numbers that break the marriage. I don't think going to college or not changes the ones who are so self centered. They will do what they want to do regardless.

I've seen and known some people who never when to college or grad highschool. But you'd never know by the manner in which they carry themselves. Very matured and responsible. But, then they are not self centered...lol

She's too meek and self-conscious and her self-esteem is not nearly good. They are so weird.... They aren't compatible but in some of the bigger aspects they are SO compatible.... It's just a weird situation for me.... I hate it! :( And they both put me in such a bad spot.... "Well, he does this and...." "Well, she does this...." I'm stuck in the middle cuz I'm friends with both of them.... :(
