I have a few of these monsters sitting on my desk waiting to be consumed. There will be video and full report of what 1,300,000 scoville heat units feel like (jalapeņo comes in at 7k and the habanero comes in at 300k) when it enters your mouth. I am expecting to finally eat something that is too hot, so we will see. I am a fan of hot and the hotter the better, this is approaching the outer limits of what is possible from a chile. These beasts are hotter than the worlds hottest chile on the planet up untill February of this year, the ghost chile. Its real name is naga morich but like all evil things it has many names. I am strangely drawn to its power and have been tempted to toss one in my mouth, but since I am at work and am on the phone all day it's a bad idea. What's the hottest stuff you all have eaten?

Manzano is the same name as habanero , i love it , you want something hot? well put 1 jalapeno in hot oil for a few minutes, let it cool and eat it , that is really hot, we should made a contest i know few places with chiles toreados i just explain what it is (jalapeno in hot oil), unfortunately for me i can't eat it so much like i used to, i have to take acid reflux's pill before i eat anything so hot, also try chiles chipotles those are hot ...let me know i'll be happy to take you and eat some chiles ,,,

Hottest thing I ever atewaz some sort of chile they have in Korea. The men there enjoy making eating them a test of manliness. I thought those chiles were going to burn holes straight through my stomach. Damn near made me puke.

These chiles are approaching the limit of how hot something can be without adding capsaicin extract to it. Bottom line is that these are 80 times hotter than a jalapeņo and 3 times hotter than a habanero. I have been searching for the ghost chili for almost a year when a friend disclosed his father in law grows them and said he would get me some. I saw him today and he told me what he brought and these are even hotter than the pepper I was searching for. There are only 3 chilis that are hotter than this and they have each held the guiness record for hottest pepper. This is a smaller version of the naga viper chile, while smaller its just as hot.

I put to much wasabi on my sushi once... Thats about the hottest thing I've ever tried. I've had some hot jalapeņos and sampled a habanero but in tiny portions. The lump of wasabi I consumed was about the size of a nickle.

I can't handle hot very well anymore. I used to love the fried jalapeņo things I'd get with my burritos, mmm and pickled carrots too. Yum. But I cant even put jalapeņos on my subway sandwich anymore :(

Sounds like you know what your doing though, I had to wiki "scoville heat units"

Preparing for consumption if even near the eyes may cause temporary blindness? Holy Shit...

The hottest would have to be a fresh picked habanero out of Kevin's garden. That was warm.

I have been preparing to this for a year, I did the buffalo wild wings blazing' challenge and didn't break a sweat. That sauce is hotter than a habenero so we will see how this goes.
