So FINALLY I fired up my bike since her little mishap.. WHICH I might add left me stranded over on 205 and Johnson Creek.. yeah SO not my neck of the woods. :crying:
Any Hooters... so when she went down, apparently her charging system went tits up. Grr.. So found out it was the rectifier..and lucky for me this is a common problem with Hondas. and NO I'm not switching brands you buggers!! So finally had the money and got the part, picked it up Sat and took it to my freinds where the bike was towed to. So after 2 months she coughed and then purred back to life!! *big stupid silly grin*
But needless to say my buddy said.. "alright there she goes, and she SHOULD be going". *the hinting need not apply here*. So went home, grabbed the gear and said a small prayer, (since it's been the two months since i've last ridden, there's gravel EVERYwhere since last week's ice/snow storm, and it's cold as a bugger which means even if I'm warm, my tires never will be on this route). SO with that all said and done fired her up, hopped on and took the old girl back home. No mishaps, but there was a frisky moment.. I SWEAR I'll never get tired of the sheer pleasure you get when you hit the throttle and in less than 50 ft you can double your speed. :twofinger:
And now back to your regular schedued post whoring..........:blah-blah:
