Hey Ya'll,
Im not sure if this is the place to post this but I am having wiring issues and am wondereing if anybody knows '05 GSXRs. I installed flush mount LED blinkers and a fender eliminator and now am stuck trying to figure out how to install the new flasher relay to correcte flash time. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where the stock relay is and am scared to start cutting wires so close to my PCU. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hey buddy, I am considering installing one of the electronic flasher relays on my bike also. The blinkers are blinking too fast now that Ive installed my intigrated tail light and such. Anyway I was wondering the same thing and started hunting around for a diagram of where the flasher relay on my bike is and never found one. I was thinking that if I took the seat off and just turned on the blinkers I should be able to hear it ticking, and the one ticking should be the flasher relay? I dont know if this would solve your delima or not, but its just a suggestion.
Good luck, and let me know how it works out.

Heres a link to a BUNCH of bike manuals. If you scroll down to the Suzuki section there is a download for a 2005 GSXR 750 manual. It cant be too far off.

I actually downloaded the four hundred page shop manual and found it to be virtually useless. They mention the relay but fail to map it. I did find a picture online while googling "how to" type questions but am a bit worried to start clippin' wires....the flasher relay was originally supposed to be "plug and play" - I could not find the plug so called the place i got it and it ended up being for a R-1. The repalcement they gave me is not plug and play. I'll get it eventually and let ya'll know.

Worst case is that you leave enough wire when you cut it to wire it back together if it doesnt work.

I think it's the black square box plugged into the fuse box...? Suzuki has used a similar setup on different bikes I've seen. The turn signal relay is a combo relay. It also controls ECM voltage if I remember right. If you pull the thing fully out the ECM won't get power, so it doesn't then send any signal to the gauges or the other relays, and the bike will be dead. You might have to figure out which wires are signal control. There are a lot of pins in the connector. Trouble is, you can't pull the relay box out to test the pins. Pull the area of the harness with the fuse box out from where it's anchored behind the seat. Use a test light. You might have to 'probe from the rear' :) while the relay block is plugged in, turn signal on... or check the wiring diagram for the wire color.
