Ok, so cruising some other sites, I noticed a thread started about full piece womens leathers. I wasnt aware that there were good options out there for one piece full womens leathers that were good quality, but apparently I was wrong. yay!! As I am eventually wanting to do track days, and maybe race (hopefully) I was interested. Here's some pics. The Dianese is nice, a bit girly, but would be cool to wear and veryyyy unique looking on the track :rad:

I think I'm in love...The whole suit comes in black too. And here's the Spidi suit. Also veryyy nice, and I think a little more my style.

Those are very nice, Amy! I would also love to have a nice one piece Dainese suit. Think I need to loose some weight first though. Otherwise I'll just end up looking like Santa Clause in a wetsuit. :rolleyes:

Yeah that suit is like...1400 for hte suit alone I think is what the other site said. Then you throw a $499 helmet, and $81 for the gloves...you'd almost have to take out a separate loan just for the gear!! Ha...I'll just have to be happy with the womens Icon gloves I bought last week. they shoudl be coming in this week! Wooott!!!

You could cut down on the GIRLIE effect by minimizing all the fluff and froo froo. Go with all black gloves and a Black helmet with minimal (custom) pinstriping or paint.

The suit is KICKIN"! It's not over the top Fem. Very sweet but not sticky. At least not until you start sweating! :haha:

I don't know, I like how the gloves and the helmet match the suit. I don't know if I like all the psuedo-tattoo tribal designs. A few are ok, but there is too much I think on the first one. But that is a quality brand, I'd almost sacrifice that to have that nice of a suit.

I wear almost all Alpinestar and Icon and Shoei, where I find other girls fit into Joe Rocket and otehrs wayyy better. I guess it's due to our *ahem* curvy body types that differ so much. Hey...I have an idea. We should start a thread that shows all of our gear that we wear normally and why we like it and stuff. Get good feed back from other females..

Nice..I've got 3 jackets, a few gloves (one that should be arriving any day now! Yay!) the icon ladies jeans, boots, and a helmet...I have kind of a jacket fetish...so, I'm waiting for hte new 2007's to come out..

i have some fieldsheer textile pants, but they are about 2 sizes too big now. have some joe rocket leather pants on order, but its been a month and they still havent shown up (AHEM). have 3 jackets. one mesh joe rocket, one leather/textile joe rocket, and one leather hein gericke (or however you spell it). the gericke jacket is a few sizes too big now also, so i'll be gifting it to my mom soon. have an HJC helmet, but am taking posession of moms old shoei, it fits a lot better than mine. have several pairs of gloves, 2 joe rockets, 1 gericke, 1 tourmaster. love them all for different reasons. only thing i dont have is "real" riding boots. i just wear an old pair of leather boots that are a little junked up.

Here are some pics of the leathers I haven't been able to wear for years. If someone wants to give them a good home let me know.
Heavy cowhide, made in Canada by a company named Drospo. Probably no longer in existence. Model name "Venus" circa 1985.
They're in real good shape even after thousands of miles.

Jacket: Back from armpit to armpit- 18", Waist- 32", Hip- 38"/40"
Neck- 18", Arms armpit to sleeve end- 17 1/2"
Fully lined, sleeves zip from open flare to tight fir

Pants:Inseam- 32", Out seam (waist to hem)- 42", Waist- 30"
Legs have full lining and bottom zips from boot cut to tight fit.
Has some seperation of the lining at the fly. I'll repair that.
Vest included.

yeah, like i said, i like that cream/black/red jacket... it would look good with the all-black pants... but its $350... little pricey. especially since no one keeps them in stock and i dont know how it would fit. i cant remember if i tried one on at the seattle superbike show or not... i think i did, and i probably liked it. joe rocket fits me soooo good! but $350... thats a big chunk out of my ducati down payment...

Maybe this will help with your decision. And I'm not trying to be gross, just honest. How cute would you look waiting for skin grafts in the hospital because you rode without gear? Just my humble opion; if you can't buy gear with the bike, then you're not really ready to buy the bike.

yeah i already have 3 jackets with full armor in them, as well as 2 pairs of riding pants. i just want stuff that matches... i've been riding 2 years now and am not stupid enough to ride w/o gear. this will be bike #2 for me. no need to get all high and mighty with the lectures.
