Does anyone know of a good welder or custom exhaust shop in the valley that can do a project on my bike that takes probably 30 minutes max for a fair price?
"The guy at the muffler shop cut the end off the small tube to get the mounting plate out of the way. He then used a hole saw to cut a nice round hole through the outer skin of the muffler, then used the sawzall to slide the blade through to cut the small tube that runs through the inside of the muffler. The guy then grabbed a 2" ish slash cut chrome tip. It's about as far out as the stock cover was, and then he welded it up from the inside of the tip."
That's the job I would like to have done. I am from bend, and the Custom Exhaust shop here quoted me $150 to do this job. If I had a welder and the right tools, I would do it myself. But I am willing to ride over there just to do this mod to my stock exhaust...
