Judging by reading some of the threads, I'm guessing that I'll fit in well with the forums and rides. But, that's your call not mine :).
I was especially impressed by "the Flow". I've been chasing it for 47 years. Began on a Triumph 650 with the headlight nacelle and art deco tank and never looked back. As I suspect with many here, riding is one of the times (there are at least one or two others) that I feel fully alive. Incidentally, the Trumpet had just been rebuilt as unbeknown to me (as many things were back then), one should do a "break in". I broke it in well. One hour after taking possession I was doing the majik "ton" and seized a piston and had my first lesson in rear tire skid control. How I got out of that one is beyond me. No safety classes back then prior to getting a license...nor helmets, nor leathers, etc.
I've owned a small army of bikes of every street description from that time to this. I stopped being ashamed of being a bike whore a long time ago. Well, I guess that's enuff' for now.
I live in Eugene. Presently own 3 Kawis and a Duc and ride year around. I'll attach pics of the ZedX's, don't have any of the Connie yet which I will remedy in the next day or two, and will wait until I have my new Speedy Moto clutch plate, springs, and cover on before posting one of my retirement savings 1098s. I guess some of that dog food doesn't taste too bad :)
Cheers and look forward to some spirited rides together and good times.
