So, Eric and I were watching video's of various cans and systems to put on my bike, and I was struck by lightning...

I am so in love with the paint here. That is it. I'm finished. As soon as I have enough scratch (and as a graduation gift to myself), I'm going to enlist in Cstmp8r to have my bike painted.
Also, the MGP Growler can seems to have my attention, along with the M4 can. Both sound great.

I would like to add, that I would LOVE to get a full system for my bike, and have it jetted. (yes, it's carbureted) There is also talk of putting on different tires, slightly wider and stickier than what I have now, and I'm thinking of putting on a smoke windscreen. :rad:

Cool paint scheme. Tough choice on the exhausts. My ear seemed to prefer the Growler to the M4, but both are nice. That one showing the two-fiddy with a 180/55-17 had to be a joke, right? That would ruin the bike's handling and kill its power.

I'm thinking the growler would be the best choice; its over half the price of the M4 slip-on and still sounds pretty good. The 180/55 doesn't look like it had been photoshoped but I don't know how in the hell they got a 180 in the swing arm... If you didn't notice, I thought it was kind of funny that they put a wiz bang 180/55-17 GSXR wheel and tire on the back but left the front tire OEM :haha:

That looked like ZX6 wheels to me
The growler is kind of fun looking on there. Sound is similar in both. M4 makes decent stuff, but I imagine either is just fine. Comes down to personal pref

You're right. I saw GSXR exaust while I was thinking about the tire and I got my wires crossed...
Personally, I like the M4. Loved it on my SV and I like their stuff. But; it was about $200 more for an M4 slip-on vs the MGP Growler... So if it were me I'd save the coin and get the MGP and painted hotbodies undertail for the same price as a M4 slip-on. The full M4 system (which would be the best for power) is 2X the MGP Growler slip-on. If it were a track bike, there'd be no question; full system or go home but I think the goal here is to get rid of the funky whisteling stock can... Seriously, it whistles while it idles and doesn't sound to healthy.
I think the 250 has emphysema :haha:
:ride:
Here's another good one of the MPG Growler. <Ignore the moron flapping his gums>

To me, the Growler had a sharper sound to it, the M4 is more smooth in its sound. I want to be heard, but I don't want to kill everyones ears either.
I love the M4, but the cost will earn me the Growler I 'spose.

See if Scorpion makes a slipon for it.
I think mine sound pretty good at low and high revs, plus, no packing in them to burn out.

EXACTLY like the fire on the bike? I saw that and was just in LUST. Poor Eric witnessed it.
I want to turn my bike into the most unique, coolest 250 in Oregon. Especially since the coolest, most wonderful man bought it for me.
