150/80/ZR16
150 = tire cross section width in milimeters
80 = height of the sidewall expressed as a percentage of the width ( read 80% of 150 mm's)
Z =speed rating
R = Radial tire
16 = rim diameter.

90% of 130 = 117
80% of 150 = 120
difference being 3 mm's of sidewall so X's 2 equals the 150 being 6 mm's taller in diameter or 3 mm's in radius.
25.4 mm's to the inch, so 12.7 mm's to the 1/2 inch, 6.35 mm's to the 1/4 inch and 3.1725 mm's to the 1/8 inch.

Yep, Bill's Motorcycles Plus on 12th street in Salem, they're kind of hidden. When you go down 12th you'll see Signcrafters on the left, you want to turn in there because by the time you see the Huskies out front it'll be too late and you'll have to circle around.

Usually Brian (the partsman) answers, but sometimes Bill answers. Tell Brian that Jon with the Blackbird sent you. They WILL treat you right, and Brian will make good recommendations for tires as well.
I personally buy everything I can from them (I'll prolly buy my next bike from them too). They don't keep a lot of street stuff in stock, but I'm usually not in a hurry for stuff. And Brians pricing is typically in line with or better than prices I've found online.
I've heard that Don at Power is hooking people up with stuff as well, but I don't tend to shop there. I don't know Don or who he is, but the last time I tried to buy something there (a couple years ago) I was impressed in the wrong way.
Avoid Cycle Gear in Salem if at all possible.

My personal take on tires... If you don't run my brand and model of tire you suck.. End of story...
Just kid'in...
Ride whatever brand you want. Just replace the one on there with anything as soon as you can. Find a tire you like and trust. If it's a perelli, michellin, dunlop, bridgestone or something else completely just get one you'll like and trust. Trick is, you won't know until you try one. I love my btlx 016's on the ZX... They may suck on the SV though; I don't know...
Regardless, they're all good tires and better than what'cha got.
So pick up a set of bridstone BT-016's if you don't wana suck...
