Yeah, I did that race on my Goldwing back in the early-80's. It was way tougher then:yes:.

What an insane race. I think it's time to move to Europe. They seem to be willing to let people risk life and limb in races like that, the Isle of Man, etc.

Maybe we should at least organize an OSB group vacation/ride through Europe and plan a route that takes in a couple of MotoGPs, a race like that, Isle of Man?

I'm all for that!! I wanted to go to a race while I was in Germany but didn't plan it in with all my other trips. :yes: Was also going to plan a three day ride around Germany but the cost for renting a sportbike was much more than I wanted to pay. It was so cool to see so many riders over there...most wear full gear and I'm not talking just on the Autobahn. More people here need to learn that.
