i dont know if these is the right place but im angry as hell right now. OK so im on my way home from visiting my knephew. and im riding like i normally do when im out by myself. easy and safe. no showing off or speeding too much. as i hit my off ramp.(as my bike was slowing down i took my hands off the handle bar to shake them) this A-hole in a corvette decided he was gonna tailgate me and try running me off the road. but i did let him. and then he caught up with me at a stop light and he said "why dont you learn how to ride that thing, you guys on two wheels f@cking (f@cking) idiots" "its your guys fault you guys f@cking (f@cking) go down" and i was so mad i wanted to drop my bike and hurt the guy. i was by myself and riding safely. Sorry guys have to vent im so mad i wanna hunt him down and beat the crap out of him. for the first time i got scared riding alone.

Everybody's an expert.

Get used to it dude.

Or just challenge him to a run down the freeway to a predetermined point, get waaaay ahead of him and pull off at the next exit. Let him race himself for a while and collect the awards.

Cagers can say what they want... I either smacked the drivers side mirror way out of alignment or broke the damn thing on a Suburban yesterday. They totally merged right into me. I was there then the Suburban was there. As I goosed it around them I delivered the one fingered salute and four knuckles into their mirror... Talk about an adrenaline rush! I'm sure everyone else around thought I was just another reckless biker waiting to become a statistic... Call me crazy but I had to pass some people and get some distance between me and the Suberban...

Shit like this has been happening a lot lately not just to me but it seams to everyone else too...

You are my idol :clapping:

I was coming home from Tualatin on I-5 the other night around 9pm and right where 205 merges into I5 and some idiot in a new F150 flies down the onramp and gets into the 'slow lane' then cuts over into the 'middle lane' right in front of me! He obviously didn't want to slow down any and was being a dick and didn't care. So I gave him a courtesy flash that he'd cut me off and what does he do?! Brake checks me. WTF? I dropped it into 2nd, got alongside him, flipped him off and boogied.

Next time I go for the mirror... :nchucks

Certianly dont let it get to you, dickheads like that have been around since the invention of the bike, and will be forever more!
Same could be said for them though, how many Corvette, Porsche, [insert fast/showy car here] have cut me off cause they were just too busy playing the "look at me in my car" game with themself.

Carbon, Titanium or high density plastic knuckles are good for more than resisting abrasion :bring: I wouldn't endorse taking peoples mirrors out on a regular basis though. Next thing you know we'll be on TV as the raging out of control motorcycle riders... In my case though I was pushed hard out of my lane and into the gap between north bound and south bound traffic... If I hadn't been paying attention I could have been killed. They deserved a broken mirror if they got one. They were lucky I didn't plant a toe slider in the door too :shifty:

They are lucky I wasn't riding with you, Sweetie. I would have followed them and ended up needing a get out of jail soon card...

Fucking asshats.

yup, gotta stay alert and one step ahead of the game.

had one car cut me off and then proceed to go about ten miles an hour while signaling a left turn. I finally got tired and passed on the right, leaving a sideways mirror as I went by.

Most recently, I was following a vehicle on a two lane road, actually being nice and waiting for a safe legal spot to pass. The opportunity presents itself and in the moment it took for me to turn my head and check my mirror for any traffic behind me and look back ahead, the driver had his signal on and was in the process of brake checking me. seconds seemed like hours as I swerved, narrowly missing the bumper and I think my shoulder grazed the mirror. Before I realized what happened it was over and I was still going down the road.

had I been in the center or right hand portion of the lane I surely would have hit that car.

Hmm, mirrors as trophies. That's a good one. Immediately noticeable too, and much better for your case to the LEO for the cage making contact than the dent in the door (what I usually do).

Thanks guys. i saw the guy again today. he was parked at the starbuck by target here in clackamas. i got off my bike and walked up to him. i did even say a word. as soon as i was about to say something offensive. he raised his hand like he was gonna stop me and said: "hey kid i dont want any trouble. sorry" he looked hella scared like i had a gun pointed at him. so i just walked away. he watch me walk away and got on my bike. just seeing how scared he was made me feel so much better. and off course reading this thread.

Good to hear that!! I once had an issue with a guy and hopped off the bike to give him a tongue lashing and he was so scared I was going to pull him out of the truck...almost made me feel bad. I think he learned because I had seen him a couple times after that and he gave me more than enough space.

+1 to idiots learning a lesson!

Not that I have any experience with that sort of thing.:shhh:

I havent had anyone try to run me over before but have had a guy not see me till the last second:eek2: He actually pulled hard left to avoid me and hit the median on MLK:wow8: He flipped his truck full of landscaping tools hurling shuvels and trash cans at me! I sped up out of danger then went back around and he was ok but his truck was totaled. That was 5:30am. Guess he needed coffee:coffee: Wake up f@cker!
