Have you looked at the features?

Tight suspension
Centralized mass
snug cockpit
Low ground clearance
Short wheelbase

And the fact that its on Buells website is priceless.

Actually the Buell 1125r looks like a nice bike its got 82 ft/lbs of torque and that only vary's by 8 ft/lbs through the powerband. Also just look at the front brakes it is attached to the wheel.

I thought this had been posted already on another thread. I've seen it before. It's funny, yeah, the last part is sad.

I don't see how they where ever worth the $12,000+ price tag. You know how much ammunition you could get with $12,000????

Shouldnt it be the other way around? Put Harley out of business and KEEP Buell.
So sad...

Makes me wonder what H-D is going to do with MV in the future...

No, ass. I knew that. I was just saying, bite your tongue, cuz they'd better not mess with MV!! But then again... I guess we'll see what happens if and when they sell it. Could get worse.

LOL...

That H-D owns MV was news to me not long ago. I had no idea. But the goofy fuel injection on some of the models makes more sense knowing that lol

Erik is back!

Still can't sell them though.

Actually pretty nice looking.

http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2010/03/03/er...new-motorcycle/ (http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2010/03/03/erik-buell-racing-launches-its-first-new-motorcycle/)
http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2010/02/21/er...ell/#more-32266 (http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2010/02/21/erik-buell-racing-a-brand-new-erik-buell/#more-32266)

But if Erik Buell Racing is really successful I would not be surprised if Harley-Davidson, in exchange of compensation, release Erik Buell from selling the design and manufacturing rights for street motorcycles to other manufacturers. And one of these manufacturers, and maybe the only one could be…Harley-Davidson wishing one day to acquire a performance/sport bike image.

I vote for a partnership with Victory (Polaris) though. They have the engines, they have the manufacturing, they have the extensive dealer network, they're (mostly) made in America, and most importantly they already have a younger market to transition from performance sleds to performance bikes.

This makes me very sad.

Yea, I hope things work out better for him this time. That 1090RR looks pretty sweet, V-twin, 185HP, 93ft lbs of torque and 360 pounds wet... Wow... I bet it sounds mean  and can back it up.
