POST IT! Has anyone learned something new while riding lately that they'd like to share? A technique, a trick, a new top speed, an appreciation for something, anything at all lets hear about it.

I'll start. I recently learned how to do a 2nd gear power wheelie and ride it higher keeping it up longer!

I'm not a stunter but it's been fun taking my time learning.

I learned that a surprising amount of the time, when I come up on a cage in the hammer lane and turn my left turn signal on (learned this riding in europe), US drivers will get out of the way.

(In europe if you see someone coming up behind you with the left signal on that means they're hauling ass and you better get the fuck outta the way before you get assholed)

I am learning new skills on my bike every time I ride. I am gaining confidence by leaps and bounds. That's a huge thing for me. I am learning to trust my bike. I am learning to trust myself.

I am learning every time my state of mind and skills takes a step backwards, I'm about to take a huge leap forward in my abilities. So, now when I don't feel so right out on the bike, and am riding like ass, I know I will be light years ahead the very next ride or two. Makes the shitty days not so shitty.

Yup...if yer gonna do it, ya gotta do it.

You sure don't learn how to ride better by not riding.

I learned not to let the Wife (aka The 1 Who must be obeyed) to press a little button on my speedo-healer that recalls my top speed.........Especially after a long ride with the boys.:bash: My Man Berries still quiver from the last shot they took.......:bully:

I will not incriminate myself. But there were 3 digits and the sum of the three equals 14. My nuts hurt just typing this.......:puke2: I have learned to clear my unit before she goes up on the stands!

Or you do what I did, get it to show mid-century a few times and she'll quit looking.

Ahh yes, the "without you" card.... Can't play that one on me since I have no kids of my own (that I know of).

Only if people thought of them selves fortunate. Most dudes want everything BUT the woman that understands, and encourages.
