HI!
Stumbled onto this Site, and think I'll hang out a while... at least until I get the boot!

Found you guys (and gals) while doing some research on my latest rocket, which I aquired from cbrwelder. I gave up on my last Bike back in October, as it finally succumbed to my rather bad case of Modification Disease (hence the nickname), and although it looked like an '86 ZX1000R on the outside, there wasn't much left of Kawasaki on it. I wasn't really sure where my next ride was until I was offered this '93 Honda CBR 1000F, and I think I am going to leave this one well enough alone!!
Well... maybe just a few changes...

Stole his pic... I haven't shot any yet, and in fact haven't even ridden it yet, as I won't mount up without Insurance!


I like working on stuff, and restoring Old Bikes, and will wrench on just about anything, but I will warn anyone who askes me to work on their stuff that I will only guarantee the repairs for 10 mins, or until it breaks!
Generally, I ride alone, as I don't like to feel responsible for someone trying to follow me while I test the limits of some new modification (or my own limits for that mater). I do have a bad habit of trying to find the limits of things...
If you haven't noticed, I enjoy writting, so you can always count on a good read when I get the urge to pound out a long winded, drawl bit, on some mondane, pointless subject, but I will do my best to keep it interesting!
I'd like to think that I am well versed, and educated, but the reality is that I rarely know what's going on, generally don't have a clue on how to take stuff apart, won't take the time to read instructions, and never seem to completely finish anything! To make maters worse, I am under-funded most of the time, under-staffed everyday, unequippted for most of my projects, and suffer from a total lack of patience.
Riding interests are primarily in Sport Bikes, which I will ride in any weather conditions short of snow, and always wear Full Gear, cause I already know how bad it sucks to hit the ground running without it! Besides, I'm usually trying to drag a peg somewhere, and just having it on keeps me focused on riding rather than what would happen if I wiped out.
By the way... I am also a bad example to follow.

~Technically, I have not actually ridden the Honda yet. I have owned (and ridden) Kawasaki, and Yamaha Bikes in the past... but no Suzuki, cause they are too hard to Modify Safely...:eek:

~Likelyhood of a peep under my Kilt is not possible, as I only wear it in the Shower, to keep my Monkey Tail from knocking over the Shampoo Bottle...
