A little help...

So I am looking to get another dirt bike, and I currently have a choice between a KTM 250 EXC and a TM Racing 250?

The KTM is a 95 and the TM is a 2002, both are gonna be around $1400 mark (as I am trading for it)

Currently we have a KDX 220 and love its 'woods' capability, as that is what we ride primarily, and was hoping for a bike that is close in performance (a little more power is always good too though...)

Any thoughts on either of these bikes? Good or bad?

You really need to come check out my KTM 200 EXC. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you some pictures (I closed my Photobucket account, so the pics that were there are gone).

Both of the bikes that you are looking at are pretty old. Parts can be an issue, and the improvement in reliability and suspension that you'd see on my '04 would be well worth a bit of extra money.

I would love to, however I am trading the bike for a fully loaded, gas powered RC helicopter - its gonna be a straight trade plus a little cash on their end as the heli is worth $1600!

(unless you wanted to do a deal with the heli and I'll throw in a bit of cash? - I would be up for that...)
