Would anyone be interested in pooling for an OSB track day at Pat's Acres in Canby next year?
Providing I could get Pat's Acres to rent to us hooligi.

Pat's Acres is a pretty cool go-kart track, and I've gone to watch the supermotards run it, as well. But the aerial picture is kind of deceptive. The track is actually really pretty small. Its decent size for karting, but the bikes would have a hard time making some of those turns at anything over parking lot speeds. If I had a supermoto, I would be all about it. But with either of my 600s, it would be interesting to say the least.
A knee draggin track this is not.
If you wanted to organize a rider-training kind of trackday, I would think this could be a good place to hold it. The track is a good simulation for a single lane rural road, with slight elevation changes, tree cover, visibility changes, and traction and pavement changes.

Team Oregon holds it's "advanced rider training" there I believe.
I have to agree with Tom. The 600's would never get out of first, I doubt a 250 would. A track like Pats Acres isn't for a trackday experience, it's more for railing a pocket bike.

Not really looking for a knee dragging experience, I knew the track isn't made for that. I think it would be fun to get us out there, and get some of the big brothers out there to help some of us newbs and not so newbs.

Team Oregon does have their top-level class there. No, it's not a real track-day, only getting to 3rd gear on the straight, but it's fun even on a 996cc bike.:2cents:
