Hey what is the problem? I might be able to help you. Past experience is first make sure that you have a good ground connection, most electronics are sensitive to a weak ground.

my fz750 wont start when you push the start button, and the right side coil is heating up when the key is in the on position...

You have two seperate issues there. The start button is a simple one. Either a bad contact or a broken wire/bad connection.
My guess on the coil is that it's saturating but not triggering causing the heat issue. Probably the coil is bad. Swith the right to the left and the left to the right and see if the problem is the one coil or if it's related tot he specific side of the bike.

First off are you dealing with a stock harness? If so, go with flyte Risk's advice and also check for breaks and shorts in the wiring. Also by "not start" do you mean it doesn't turn over or it won't fire?

I did the switching sides with the coil connectors, to see if maybe it was one coil that was bad, and when I plugged the right side connector into the left side and vice versa, the left side began to heat up...it is the stock harness, btw...and by "not start", I mean, when everything is hooked up properly, and you press the start button on the switch, nothing happens. no clicks, ticks, nothing. but, when you bypass and cross the relay, it turns over but doesn't fire. all I am looking for at this moment is to get it to at least turn over by pressing the start switch.

Do you have a ohm meter? If you don't have one you're wastiing your time. Get one and start checking where the power is and isn't

I believe it may be the clutch switch...I have yet to check if the nuetral switch and sidestand switch are intact...when I do, Ill let everyone know...I have an ohm meter...its one of those yellow digital ones...with like 5000 different options on it...ugh...once again <----not an electrician

The sidestand switch shouldn't factor into it.
I've never seen a yamaha that had a clutch switch that mattered unless the bike is in gear.
Check the netrual safety switch and start button for power in/out and resistance. Both are simple open/closed operation. And just for giggles check the kill switch.
