Dude :rad:
Damn it!!! :yell:
I admit it; I was... But still the whole thing is a bit frustrating... CURSE THESE HIGH PERFORMANCE MACHINES! The temptation is overwhelming at the most inopportune times...
I was leaving Canby heading to work and got on it at the "55" sign... Well just over the ridge was one of those wonderful motorcycle cops... Neat... He had his lights on and was in the turning lane before I even got to him...
Wonderful :crying:
The most frustrating part of it all was his cruiser buddy showed up and they began discussing the ticket he was in the process of writing. I'm not an idiot and can pickup on certain words and phrases... I was standing there trying to keep some composure and not say anything other than sir... :censored: He just got done pulling the three miles an hour faster and they would be impounding my bike, writing me a +$1000 ticket and taking me to jail card...
Needless to say, that radar detector my friend was asking about is on order now...

Master E, that sucks. Yes, it seems that our bikes just like to cruise at 75-80. Got to keep the eyes peeled for johnny law and let us know if the "device" your ordered works. If so, I may need to order one for my commutes to work.

OUCH!!!
What's the damage on 17 mph over ticket? Not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign cost me something like $350.

Thats 27 miles over DrMathWhiz.
My 30 over was a base fine of $242 and the officer lowered it to $145 before he even gave me the ticket.
Eric, if your record is otherwise clean go to the court on or before your date and ask the judge for a defferment. If he/she grants one and you don't get another cite for 6 months the one you have now doesn't go on your record.

Yea I have no tickets on my record so I'll have to do that. Its a $242 dollar ticket :twofinger: What I don't get though is my ticket that got dropped for doing 65 in a 55 on I-205 (again on my way to work) was more than this one? WTF :wtf:

Different counties?? It might also be because of the type of road. Or if it's a construction zone.... Just my :2cents: , but I could be wrong.

Yea I don't know... It wasn't a construction zone and its in the same county. The only thing I could think of is when you're north on 205 about at west linn there is a sign that says safety corridor... Is the whole stretch of 205 a safety corridor? Cuz I know tickets double in the corridor heading up to Mt. Hood. Maybe that was kind of the same thing?

Couldnt just write a ticket. Had to tell you how much trouble you could have been in. Blah Blah Blah...I respect the police. It just kills me when they throw in the extra :vomit:Agreed they cruise well over 80mph

Now that I think about it I believe it says something like "safety corridor next 10 miles" or something like that. That sux about your ticket though.

Mine seams to be off a tad... 4 maybe 5 mph at 40mph... I'm thinking about a gear kit to stretch it out some so when I do that It should set it about right I think.
