and I have to say I am not too impressed. I didn't really get to break out the speed but I have to say they could have made the "feel" a little better. It felt as though I was sitting "on top" of the bike not sitting on the bike (if that makes any sense?) It did break the rear tire loose pretty easy though:thumbup:

Roo, I totally understand what you mean. You felt like you were perched on top of the bike, instead of being in and around the bike, ie, part of the bike itself.
Maybe if you rode it more, you would feel more comfortable on it? Are there any major design differences with the bikes?

Thats kinda how I felt when I first road the R1 after so many years on the YZF600R. I think maybe because R1 does sit a tiny bit higher, and is so much lighter then the other bike...It just took some getting to know eachother. Now when I ride the 600R, IT feels wierd.

Its a more agressive position on the new R6. I had the same feeling going from my Katana to the ZZR and the ZZR handled so much smooother and quicker turning.
