I know the Eugene area can see some snow during the winter months. But how long is the riding season? What about in the Coburg area, and up towards Corvallis? That is in the area we are looking to move, if Patti goes to that swamp-dwelling, buck-toothed rodent school :vomit:. If however, she realizes that overall enlightenment can be better than some sort of perceived "better program" could ever be... We , University of Oregon!

There can be riding year round, if you don't mind wet. Some days just aren't worth it tho, but usually there is the odd day here and there where you can sneak out and get some wrist twisting in.

I can imagine it wouldn't be too different than Albuquerque was this past winter.

Eugene is a great place to ride. Yeah it rains quite a bit, but there is also plenty of random days throughout the year -as stated above- that you can rack up some miles. Not to mention, when summer comes and the sun is out, Eugene is a very beautiful place to be. If you haven't been, go to eugenesportbike.com the folks there are great, as are the roads around.
Aside from riding, Eugene is a far superior place to live over Corvallis. Of course that is my opinion, but if it bothers you then you probably are a beaver fan in which case

I say move to eugene not corvalis. The women are much easier to look at. Unless you like looking at 400+ lbs women in spandex then move to Springfield.

O would have to pick Eugene over Corvalis. I like the fact that we have everything here, but you don't always feel like you are downtown. I don't mind it near the flat tailed slow nutria school, but much prefer the area that the pond birds are in.
I moved here from Las Vegas area and really love it here. THose tree thingys are really neat....LOL
