wettest ride EVER!!!!

Just thought I would share my brilliant evening...lol. I went bowling at big al's today and decided to ride there. When I left the house it was bright, warm and sunny. After a couple of hours it started absolutely POURING. I rode home and there was quite a bit of water on the ground in some areas I would guess at least 6 inches if not more of standing water on 164th. in vancouver..lol... By the time I got home I literally looked like I went swimming with my gear on..lol.. Anyways, just thought I would share my great ride home:rad: Oh and no mishaps what so ever.. not bad being I have only a couple of rides with the new bike and haven't ridden at all since last summer on my old 500..

I got caught in a down pour from Willamina all the way to Oregon City once... That sucked so bad... When I got home I took my gloves off poured the water out of them. Took my funnel shaped riding boots off and poured the water out of them as well. Between my armor, leather jacket, and leather pants they must have weighed twenty five pounds... Oh; and it was cold... Damn cold...

I don't mind riding in a little rain. Don't go out in it; but if I'm caught in it whatever... In the end though, down pours and six inch deep standing water just sucks :twofinger:

nothin like showing up for a kids charity ride in 2005 to find an absolute downpour! I dont think we got out of 3rd gear and we were making swimming, rowing, canoeing impressions the whole ride! Textile gear is only waterproof for so long...
