So I am in the middle of trying to put smaller front blinkers on my R6 and it is a pain in the ass. Is it supposed to be this hard? None of the wires are matching up as far as color goes, there is nothing for the bolt on my new blinkers to be secured to, and I am lost. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

What brand of blinkers are you putting on? Did they come with instructions? The last two sets of blinkers i installed did not have colored wires that matched up with the oem wires.

I bought K & S "blinkers". No instructions with them. Only two wires instead of three. Did you go riding today?

Sorry no help here. With only two wires you should be able to trial & error your way through. No riding today for me but tomorrow it's on. Say hey if you want to roll a couple hundered tomorrow. Heading toward Waldport.

+1 trial and error does work and so does a multi meter (even a cheap one). without the meter simply turn you blinker on and see which two wire make it blink... If you notice that it blinks really fast however you may need to either swap to a diferent bulb or add a resistor (normally 1olm will work) to the positive line....

Alright, thanks for the suggestions. Hey Jon, what time are you guys taking off today? I was hoping to get a ride in this weekend but I have other stuff I have to get done too. Let me know. See ya.
