Cascade April 10th 2008

Think I'll opt for Motor Corsa or PSSR later in April. Maybe a Kent, NESBA day.
Not the biggest CCT fan.
Hoping to get in as many trackdays as I can this season though.
New pavement should be awesome and smooth.

Just to spark some discussion on an otherwise nearly dead forum, what is it you don't like about Cascade?

I personally have no problem with Cascade but I honestly believe Tyson is trying to cater more to the racers than the average street person.

Look at all his weekends the day before OMRRA?

I dont blame Tyson for doing that, a lot of business comes from racers wanting to set up their bikes before OMRRA. But it can bring a lot of fast people out there and when you throw a street guy in the mix it can get kinda scary.

I have done a track day with CTT and I had no problems, but I can see the point of view that its just too fast for some. Im gonna try a PSSR day for some comparison this year as I am told they have awesome instructors and is a bit more geared towards street riders. At least in C/B groups)

and this is not to bring bad press down on Tyson or CTT so please do not bash or bring any drama here, its just a discussion!

Last I knew the April date for Motocorsa was a CAR ONLY event. Motorcycles start 5/5 (Cinqo de Mayo!)

and i like all trackday providers
CT was my very first track day
i've done a bunch with other providers
i have the most fun with CT and moto corsa
down south kegwins put on a great day but Z2 does a great first time novice school
just depends on what your looking for

no the worst pain will come from trying to get money to do more trackdays
