My First Wintertime Project on my Puddy

Ok, so, MY bike is getting a little bit of some foo-foo good for it stuff. I cleaned it, thoroughly, and took off the grease from the new chain off the swing arm. UGH :impaired: Then, we took the bar ends off, and located the frame sliders Mike had for it. I then proceeded to take a scotchbrite pad to them to scuff them up, then I painted them flat black. ( I just had to go outside to pic up the bar ends, they tipped over goldarnnittttt!!!! :frusterated: )


Soooo, Mike took some pics, and he will post them up, and then I will take pics of the finished product. He also has a good story to tell. Mind the fact that this is my first bike, and I have NEVER used spray paint before either... :help2:

I did manage to get the paint on a little thick, and so I have some drippage going on, I will have to find a way to remedy that.

My next project is going to be new grips, and taking the stickage off from previous sticking things that Mike had on there... :unsure:

She forgot to mention that I told her to keep shaking the spray can untill the little ball in it stopped rattling and then it would be ready to use....about 20 minutes worth of shaking I finally let her in on my little joke. Hee Hee... Looks like the cat and the sofa are getting more company tonight. :wtf:

Common sense was talking to me, that there was no way that the little ball would ever stop rattlin, but I decided to trust what Mike had to say, and I never did see his devilish little grin that he was hiding on the other side of my Puddy... :lol:
