I have a very special announcement to make.


Our very own Asphalt Surfer's son and his beautiful new bride are on their way home. They are going to be parents!!!! They are about to embark on a wonderful new era in their lives, as well as Jody. I know that most everyone thinks very highly of their grandparents. I know I do. They are wonderful people, and their kind has been blessed with New Angels in their midst with Jody and her kewl husband Matt.

I truly believe that there are Angels that do walk in our presence, and they are known as Gramma and Grampa.

Thanks everyone! I am so excited to be a grandma. My greatest joy right now is knowing they are on their way home from Baghdad in a week. They will return to Ft Hood in Texas to decompress and I hope to see them sometime in February. This will make my mother a great-grandma, but it will make MY grandfather a great-great-grandpa! How often does that happen? We plan on getting 5-generation photos as soon as the baby is born early June.
Anyone know where to get Yamaha onsies? lol
