While at work today some poor guy got NAILED on his what I think a cbr. I was in the booth painting and one of the lot attendants came running in and said somebody got hit. It turns out that he was going straight through the intersection and a mustang coming the opposite direction tried to beat a red but everyone thinks he ran right through it. The guy in the mustang hit the biker what appeared to be head on. The impact was enough to throw the guy over the car and he landed about five feet behind the mustang while his bike was wedged under the front!! And what was amazing well a couple of things actually but the guy on the bike was a BIG boy so there had to be quite a bit of momentum to hurtle him that far.. and the shocking part of the whole ordeal was after about five mins. of laying in the intersection the paramedics helped the rider up and he pretty much walked it off!!!! The guy is truly lucky it seemed. But his bike not so much.. it was pretty much unrecognizable!! Anyways, thought I would share.. stay safe out there!!

That sucks... but I'm glad to hear he survived. I hope he still went and got checked out by ER staff. As for the rest of you lot... watch out! Those friggin' cagers are trying to kill you... don't you doubt it!

some idiots shouldn't even have a valid drivers license, i'm glad the guy walk off, however he has the right to kick the driver's ass for being a fool, i don't like violence but sometimes i have exceptions

I am SO glad he is ok, and walked away. I am sorry he got nailed.



Shame on the cager!!!! ****, that pisses me off!!! I see it ALL the ****ing time in McMinnville, you never go right as the green light turns... Grrrrrr...

The cager was a young kid. I don't know what he was thinking but he sure is going to have a lot hanging over his head for quite some time if not the rest of his life. Depending on what he is cited with. And even if they both had green's he still crossed over a lane of traffic giving the biker the right of way. In any case it could have been much worse obviously. Maybe next time he will be paying more attention to oncoming traffic!!
