:idunno:I guess I wanted to cross over to the darkside and see what the big hopla is about. That and see were all the sbws folks hide and play at.
I'm Mr.Demise (My son gave me the name after I aksed him for a cool name) AKA Gcal.
Alot of you know me so I will spare you the details.
But the jist is I am a recovering car kickin addict:rad:. I'm going on my first ride in two and a half years tomorrow and trying not to kick any cars so my foot will not get lodged in the fenders....agian....
Ok, so it was only one car I kicked but it was a bad one and I'm trying to see if I can ride in traffic agian and not get all wireded out from cars being all around me. :mecry:

Hey, I remember you! Welcome to my little piece of heaven on the net.
I started really riding on my own in July, it was only 17 months after my wreck. Have you not ridden since you kicked the car?

Greetings. My name is, Dale. I live in McMinnville. I just heard about this forum from a couple of people here in town so I thought I'd check it out and say, hello.
I have a couple of street bikes right now. One is a highly modified Ducati Paul Smart. The other is an Aprilia SL Mille that has had her fair share of modifications as well.
I'm a clinical psychologist. My main practice is at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland but I also have a small private practice in Mac.
I've been riding motorcycles for about forty years. I ride close to 20,000 miles a year, usually alone, but I'm willing to go on group rides as long as the people in the group are reasonable about how far they push things. I like to follow the recommendations that Nick Ienatch (sp?) lays out in his "Pace" articles.
When I was in my early-20s I crashed on Hwy 26 right in front of a State trooper. I was going between 100mph and 120mph. I still have four levels in my neck where disk and bone contact my spinal cord. I've had three surgery to repair my lumbar spine and one to repair my cervical spine. I don't want to go through that again, hence my wariness about riding with anyone that might still like to things to the edge on the street.
Well, I hope to see some of you around and look forward to getting to know some of the sport bike riders in the area.

Welcome everyone.
FYI
Gerbal (sp) has two motard's, one is a DRZ the other is a KTM 560. I'm pretty sure he would sell one of them if anyone was interested.
