I'm about due for new tires, and I'd like to get some braided steel brake lines installed while I've got the bike in for tires, so who has recommendations for a place to take it?

Or, is there someone on here who has tire changing equipment and the skillz to replace brake lines (I know the basics, but I'm not willing to do it myself: a man's got to know his limiitations) who could do it for a few beers or bills?

The standard for tires are EDR, ground zero or any dealership. I'd say just take it to EDR. They'll have you in and out.

Now for the brakelines, if anybody wants to charge you more then $10 or so bring the lines and a 6-pack of droptop over here and you can do them under my watchful eye.

I agree in full! I am sure that a dealership will charge throught the nose to install break lines. Get a buddy to give you a hand feed him some cold beer and you should be able to have the lines done in under an hour....Just my thoughts

Just make sure you partake in said beer AFTER brake lines are installed.

$10 to spend an hour draining old lines, removing old lines, installing new lines, and bleeding (Correctly) new lines is pretty cheap. hell, i'd skip EDR as well fro that price! It aint hard, but it does take time, and thats what shops charge for, as well as doing it right...the first time (hopefully)

We keep alot of s/s lines in stock if you cant find anywhere else thou..and at least take the guy a GOOD 6pak of beer ;)
