First off I love this bike! So far it has proven to be smooth, fast, and comfortable. But I have two simple questions for anyone with experience with this motorcycle...
I opted to install the rear seat cover cowling, (just 'cause it looks cool, there are no sliders on my jeans). I swear it makes me feel like an idiot but I tried everything and couldn't figure out how those aluminum grab handles are supposed to "flip for storage", the manual says "see your Honda dealer" Thanks a lot! Anybody know where they go?
My second question is not very sportbikey, but I really want some nice hard luggage for the back, I'm tired of the canvas stuff and Givi is the only maker I've found that lists the VFR specifically, their stuff looks like a couple of old briefcases strapped to the back (IMO) so does anyone know of a good supplier of fitted hard bags for this bike?
Thanks in advance. -Paul
You can try Corbin...

I didn't see any bags for your VFR750, but the factory is located in Hollister, CA., and they can do custom work if you the extra $$$.

I have a picture from a road trip on the Katana that looks rather similar... Though your choice of beverages looks a lot better! :haha:

Well... I was headed to Utah in that pic. Who knows what the beer offerings are in THAT state!!! So, I figured I'd take a little bit of Oregon heaven, known as Mirror Pond, with me.
Do you realize... I have effectively hijacked this thread?
Sorry 'bout that...

Thanks Scout! Unfortunately I'm in Eugene and it's 9:00 so I'd have to ride faster than the speed of light to make it in time... Though a trip to Hooters is always welcome! :P
I removed the handles and installed the cowling, the previous owner said that they somehow flipped around and could be stowed underneath? I just removed them but felt like a tool since I couldn't make them fit under the seat.

what year is it? I am not sure how you removed them without getting them to flip over. Hooters is so trailer trash. it's all about the wings right? (grin)
