ok, to start with, i have to say that i understand and respect the law.
so here's the story. the army requires an MSF experienced riders course in order to ride. i think this is a good idea, and i took the class today. don't worry, i passed.
the problem that i have is with the state of oklahoma. 3 of us from the class went to the dmv right afterward to get the restriction taken off our lic. the first guy shows his MSF card and gets the paperwork he needed. the other 2 of us get to the counter and we're told that they can't do it because we didn't have our permit for 30 days. i get that part too. the only problem i have is consistantcy. the dude that got his paperwork got his permit 1 day before i got mine. i got mine 10/4, he got his 10/3, neither is 30 days or more. the dude that helped this other soldier made the comment "was difference is a week gonna make?" at what point does it make a difference?
there's really nothing to do but another week, but i had to say something.
