Ok, I am just gunna throw this out there and realize that I know what's coming, but I am looking for some decent pants and boots and just want to see what everyone else is wearing and likes..
My jacket is fine, I enjoy it, it does what I need for now, but the pants and boots that I have are primarily for wet weather and I want some decent pants and a pair of boots..
So whaddaya got?

Just picked up a pair of Nitro Racing boots from Lanphere's in Tigard. $79 bucks!!!! You should check them out..
That was last week, and they had plenty, but I don't know about this week.

I love my alpinestar boots. On my 2nd pair now. As far as pants, try on a few pair to see what you like, just make sure to sit on your bike with them on. I bought my textile pants (that fit great in the store) only to figure out later that once I got on the bike, they hiked up past the top of my boots. :yell: Wore them till I could afford leathers, but hated every minute.

I looked up ICON pants online and all I found were textiles and jeans. Couldnt find leathers except for jackets.

that's funny. The same thing happened to me with my current pants. Granted they are really my rain pants but they ride high above my boots...

Icon boots for cruisin'. They feel good (for about 100 bucks) but I wouldn't take them to a track. I also have some Icon pants with kevlar reinforce (nice crotch vents for coolin' the boys too!) but they dont feel thicker or safer then double front Carhartts. I picked up some icon field armor Knee and shin guards which make the pants feel safer ( I know, I like Icon cuz they are local and they kick arse). They work for cruisin but I would like a one piece leather for getting it.

I have several different types of boots and pants for different riding. Boots first. I have the Icon superduty which are great for riding around town, I have both A* and Gaerne race boots I like the Gaerne's better I think they have a better feel, then I have a pair of 100% waterproof Teknic boot that are wonderful for this state we live in. For pants the double knee carharts seem to work well, as do the icon pants, I love my Firstgear ht overpants totally waterproof and great protection, for the dryer weather tourmaster Apex Air Pants are great for warm weather riding. then for getting down and dirty I have a Teknic 1 piece suit that I would suggest to anyone.. hope this helps.

I have had good luck with alpinestars. Sold my bike recently and am selling my riding gear.

Sidi boots.
If you're looking for full leather pants, Joe Rocket makes some pretty decent stuff. I've got the Speedmaster pants, which have a full circumference zip and the 8" zipper to mate with a jacket. Of course, these aren't daily wear type of pants.
