OK, I'm as new to bikes as you can get.

I just got my bike...it doesn't appear to have FRONT turn signals? Am I missing something?

also regarding my REAR lights/signals: the right bulb does not come on when I turn the bike on nor does the right turn signal work ( I can hear it clicking, however), but when I apply either brake both bulbs light up as they should and the right turn signal WILL work when I am applying brakes. What is my problem? Serious/spendy electical or easy bulb change?

When you say "no front signals" do you mean not working? Or no fixture for the signals?

Do you have independent turn signals or an integrator? (signals built into the brakelight assembly?)

Low on blinker fluid?

I haven't seen a bike where the turn signals double as additional brake lights without some kind of modification. From the factory, the rear light should come on when either the front or rear brake is applied, and the turn signal lights should come on when the turn signal is activated (both front & rear on whichever side was activated).

It sounds to me like you have a wiring problem. The good news that these are fairly easy to fix (unless a modification was done) because the components all fit together with plugs. I'd start by taking off the rear seat and whatever other bits you need and just looking at the wiring. Feel free to disconnect the plugs and use a multimeter to see which wires are used for each function (brake, right turn, left turn). It should be fairly easy and self explanatory after that.

I would have someone look at it while you do the turn signals. Maybe you have an integrated brake light.

Well, I know all this because I've had someone look at it while I applied signals, brakes, etc.

There aren't fixtures on the front of the bike at all.

I think the rear are integrated, the right one only comes on and blinks when the brakes are applied.

There is no blinking of any kind on the front of the bike...we've checked day and night.

I think it would help if you put up pics of the front. It sounds like someone just removed the turn signals? Is the prev owner unable to help?

on the rear brake issue:

if the right signal comes on bright and off completely then its a bad bulb. The low beam has burned out. Replace it.

Otherwise sounds like you'll need to chase some wires. Good luck!

are they supposed to go where the blue (puck's, is that what they're called?) pucks are?

Spendy to buy new/used? Self install no problem?

Don't think I'll be able to contact the previous owner...bought it from dealership. (Motorsport Hillsboro)

well, I see where they go now...the little holes right in front of the "R" graphic. This isn't street legal, is it?

That's where they go. Who the hell did that? you can get some replacements easy from ebay. The wires should still be behind the plastics with a clip on the end to just plig them into. It's really easy.
No not street legal.

Who was your salesman?

No doubt. They should not have sold you a non-street legal bike for obvious use on the street.
