I like to put a quick shifter on my bike. As it is right now, (Now No one scream too loud) I have just been hammering through the gears without using the clutch. The last track day I could fell the shifter stay down my linkage might be too tight and bounding up, I don't know. ANYONE ELSE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM? j.j. On another note, where could a guy get a good shifter at a good cost. Let me know.

A quick shifter works by breaking the ignition power when you kick the shifter therefore causing a shift to be done without clutching.
I believe that Power Commander makes one but I have no clue how much that puppy costs.
You know I can always get it dialed in if you buy one.

MPS make one that I've seen used.
I "speed-shift" w/o the clutch. Should be fine as long as you briefly cut the throttle between shifts.
Sport Rider explains it much better than me:

Roadracers do this, and I've done this since my dirt-track racing days.

If you already have a PowerCommander a quickshifter is a sinch. For $250.
Just put mine on. Wow. Shifts are very fast. Can hardly wait for a trackday to try it out on.
