View Full Version : May 18th CTT
So who's going to the May 18th Cascade Track Time track day?
Should be a good one with lots of fast riders to kick our asses and hopefully teach us to ride a bit faster since it is just before a race weekend.

I'll be out there . . . mmmm, not riding but I'll be there. I might actually get to meet a few people after the last year+...
The r6 will be parked at home in the garage.
My 8yr old daughter WANTS to go to the track for a picnic lunch
HOW FRICKIN' AMAZING IS THAT !!!!
I'm taking part of the day off work and pulling her half-day from school so we can have a daddy-daughter-date at the track......so sweet. She'll be kickin' my ass at the track shortly after she gets her endorsement, I'm sure.
(sick sick sick...she's 8yrs old and I'm talking like that - LOVE IT!)
So, we'll be rolling in my posJeep (old green jeep cherokee) and we'll likely be sporting our blue Yamaha T-Shirts, sitting in the bleachers with our P-B-n-J sandwishes and juice boxes.
If you see us wandering around or in the bleaches feel free to introduce yourself.
Otherwise, I'll be wandering, if I slightly recognize someone from their avatar bike then I might be out just being social.
Happy Trackin' to those riding!

Man, Ceej!!!! I might have to just call in stupid to work and go to the track!!! (my girls would ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT) They have been asking me to be able to go back since I took them to a track day last year. :rad:
*sigh* I don't think I CAN call is stupid at work tho. I ain't dumb enough too... :haha:
Hey underceej I wish you would have looked me up, I was parked behind the stands next to the tower with Jeff (gootmacher) and Joe (pitchman). I would have been happy to see you and your daughter. Thats cool that she likes to go with you to the track. When my daughter was that age she loved to go watch me Motocross.
Anyway, generally a good day at the track except my buddy Joe wadded his bike in T-1 near near the end of the day. I wasn't getting the times I wanted consistantly, but I haven't had much time on the track and I am improving with each visit.
I am now however qualified to teach the finer art of Canadian Geese hunting with a ZX10. Hopefully the picture will post up OK, its a scan and it may not be attached with the proper rotation.
Enjoy.

jorge... thats quite possibly the best pic i've seen in a long time.
First you must develop the skills to aim the front of the bike so that the air intake scoop sucks it in like a vacuum.
Then you must apply the front brake just at the proper time to trap the bird between the lower portion of the upper fairing and the top of the front fender so as to “pinch” the bird into submission.
The beauty is you don’t need a hunting license and you can’t get in trouble because you don’t have a shot gun, and anyone would believe it was an “accident.”

what happened after that picture?
what happened after that picture?
Well, lets see, there was garlic mashed potatoes & gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes with brown sugar sprinkled on top; pepperidge farms stuffing is really good in a goose by the way. :lets-eat:
